Getting Ready to Move

With John getting ready to retire and to follow good advice about living below our means, John and I came to the tough decision to sell our beautiful Chino Hills home and downsize into a less expensive place. We accepted a nice offer on our home and it closes in mid-October. And, even though we’ve been putting in offers on a few foreclosed homes, we’ve yet have one of our offers accepted. (Until you have cash in hand – which we won’t until after our closing date – your offer is considered a contingent offer – not what the banks want to see these days.) So, we’re going to be looking at temporary housing for an indeterminate amount of time till we can find a nicely priced new home and get one of our offers accepted.

We’re looking at foreclosed homes out in the Corona, Mira Loma, Norco, and Eastvale areas. As soon as we have a new home to tall y’all about, I’ll post it up for sure!
